Beat the Heat Carseat

This is probably my most "famous" invention to date.  This is a carseat that won the Fueling Education Challenge.

I invented this carseat to help prevent hot car deaths from infants and children left in cars during the summer.  It has a pressure pad, a GPS sensor, a SMS Sim card to send messages and an alarm and display.  If there is a baby in the carseat and the temperature is detected to be above 105 degrees it will text the parent and sound an alarm.  If no action is taken within 60 seconds, it texts the GPS location to 911.

We actually got to test this with emergency management and it was very exciting to see that it worked.

I was able to share on many platforms, but my favorites were People Magazine and Good Morning America.  It was also in a lot of articles that you can find by doing a google search of my name.
