SWENext Influencer
I am a 2023/2024 SWENext Influencer!
The Society of Women Engineers has a program for high school girls called SWE Next. I am working this year to set up my own SWENext club at my local high school. I've also been able to take over their instagram, participate in a webinar to help mentor and encourage other girls, and participate in several other events throughout the year.
My First Keynote Address
Bowling Green University: Women in STEM conference
What an honor it was to be the keynote speaker for the Women In STEM conference at Bowling Green University! There were over 300 middle-school students in the audience and I was able to share my story and encourage them to pursue STEM.

For Girls Like You Magazine
Magazine Feature and Future Articles
I'm so excited to be featured on the March/April issue of the For Girls Like You Magazine!

Additionally, my sister and I will be writing "STEM Girls: Science Fun with the Denton Duo" for the next 6 issues of the magazine.

It is a great way for us to share our love of science with the world!

Angela Award
2022 NSTA Angela Award Winner
Established in honor of Dr. Gerry Wheeler, for his outstanding dedication to NSTA and lifelong commitment to science education and towards encouraging girls to consider careers in STEM. The award recognizes one female student in grades 5-8 who has shown excellence of involvement and/or has strong connections to science; evidence of sustained accomplishments or progress/interest in science; and evidence that the student's interest in science has impacted others.

I was lucky enough to get to go to Houston, TX and participate in the NSTA conference. I helped at the Carolina Biological Booth as one of their Young Innovators, I co-presented at Meet-me-in-the-Middle and helped with the Exploravision competition presentation as well.
