Paradigm Challenge
A Trip to LA and my First Red Carpet
My team created B.R.E.A.T.H.E. which is an acronym for the Bio Reactive Alert to Hypoxic Episodes. We won first place in the Paradigm Challenge and were able to fly to LA to pitch our idea! While we didn't win the Grand Prize, the trip was absolutely amazing and we were proud to have made it so far!
Exploravision Competition
Every Year Since 2nd Grade!
The Exploravision Competition from NSTA is my favorite compeititon. It is the first invention competition I ever participated in! I have won an Honorable Mention every year, from 2nd Grade through 10th. One year I hope to take home the grand prize!!

ORISE
JSTI Institute and Student Competitions
I was so blessed to be able to participate in the JSTI Summer Insitute in Robotics through ORISE.

I also won the "I'm the Teacher Now" national competition through ORISE.
Oratorical Contest
Optimist Club International
I have participated in the Optimist Club Oratorical Competition since 4th grade. I have advanced through the club, area and district competitions many times. In 2021 I was able to advance to the World Regional Oratorical Competition.
Soil and Water Competitions
NC Department of Agriculture
I have participated in the NC Department of Agriculture awareness competition since 5th Grade. In the 5th grade I won 1st place in the county and area for my poster. In 6th grade, I won 1st place in the county and area for my slide show and poster. This past year, in 7th grade, I won 1st place in the county, area and state for my speech on protecting our watersheds. It is such a huge honor to bring awareness to the environmental needs specific to my home state.
Celebrate the Mouse Video Competition

This is a video competition that seeks to help educate the public about the benefits that ethical mouse research has contributed to science.

I chose to educate on how allergies and mouse research are related. I won first place in the 5-8 grade division. My entry can be seen here.
Ellio's Phenomenal Kid Nominee
This competition sought to highlight the exciting work that children across America were participating in. It was an honor to be chosen as one of the finalists in the competition. My entry can be seen here.

In 2019 I was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society at my school.
Science Olympiad
NC Science Olympiad
I was a participant in the Science Olympiad from grade 2-6 in the Elementary Division. During that time, my team brought home 3 first place trophies and 2 second place trophies and I was able to medal in many different events.
Daughters of the American Revolution Award
Greenfield School
As a 5th grader, I was selected to represent my school as the Daughters of the American Revolution Award Recipient. This is an honor given to the 5th grader with the most interest and highest grade in history and social studies, as well as being involved in their community.
