Hi! I’m Lydia Denton, a 17-year-old 11th-grade student currently enrolled in an early college program earning my Associate in Science degree and a Certificate in Criminal Justice.
I’ve loved science and inventing since the 2nd grade and began building real prototypes in the 5th grade.
I’m also passionate about public speaking and acting. I've been part of Act for Youth since I was seven and have had the chance to perform in semi-professional productions. In 2021, I competed in the World Regional Oratorical Contest for the Optimist Club after winning several public speaking competitions.
I feel fortunate to be able to blend my love of science and public speaking by hosting science shows at places like the Ronald McDonald House, Baptist Children’s Homes, WITN, and local festivals. One of my biggest goals is to inspire others and help them get excited about science.

In 2021, my siblings and I founded a nonprofit called ReGame, Inc. to help reduce E-waste and its impact on the environment.

Right now, I’m working on an exciting new project! I'm fundraising for Lydia’s STEAM Lab, where kids can explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on learning and creativity.
